This is epic editing to epic music.

For half a decade or more I was collecting several types moments in lists to do some collages along these lines - but with more meaning than just cool random imagery. I have several nominal tracks in mind too. The deeper meaning would be political in nature: "zombie eyes / glowing eyes", "open your eyes", "left vs right", "wizards vs wizards", "illusions and manipulations", "in-car collisions", "explosions", etc. Naturally some of it might need additional visual effects, titles, and/or vocals/voice overs to explain my editorial intentions - especially when almost all pop-culture is loaded with metacontexts (ie. the source story, the characters, the actors, social attitudes, visual compositions, etc). More context may be employed from some of my other lists: "political contextualization", "quotes", "soundbites", etc. I also have some miscellaneous lists: "middle finger" (soooo many), other "hand gestures", "reaction shots", "notable", etc. Most of these are organized in folders with a screenshot labeled with its timecode for future reference if/when I'd ever need to pull the actual footage. The more woke I got the bigger this project got, and the more I felt I needed to rely on authoritative sources and citations. Eventually I developed a whole narrative with all-new characters that would use samples to communicate. Eventually I realized I need not depend on the authoritative voices as I could be my own. A decade or more later, I still feel like this could be an epic project, but sadly it must be shelved in favour of my 2 big projects: /s/BittersweetSeeds and what this project evolved into without samples, /s/Trutherism101.
