I’m still trying to figure out pacing and stuff. It’s good it’s small right now. Here’s some more chapters. Have at it.
And make sure to upvote to get interest.
Chapter 111: The Devil You Know p. 65
the fight continues. Britt really shines here. This is a great intro to the book. Like first act. Passing out almost acts like an intermission.
Chapter 1000: Genesis 6:7 p 84
I love this chapter, and this story. Really powerful. It feels like I’m reading history, not fiction.
Chapter 1001: NIKE 14 p 90
This chapter did a lot of world building for me. Made it feel more post apocalyptic. It’s nice to learn more about the cities that make this thing possible.
Chapter 1010: Braydon McAllister p. 106
I like this guy. I’m so fashioned man. Found his old fashioned woman. It’s that story of true love you don’t find any more.
Chapter 1011: Ticking p. 113
Brit faces a hard reality. I love Mercer and Brits relationship. Two loners, who need each other in an unexpected way. It’s a great plot, am I right? And Brits reaction and feeling toward the situation.
Chapter 1100: A Brief History of Genocide p. 120
great story. It goes to show how far ahead the super computers were. The whole mercury thing was disgusting or horrifying in a great way. Brits role in the war, explored all through the book, is clearly a story of what it means to be a solider, maybe like a discussion for people who are not familiar with the horrors.
Chapter 1101: Quicksilver p.128
kinda a filler chapter. Brit finding out where she is going next. But plot forced her hand.
Chapter 1110: The Siege of NIKE 14
the chapter title says it all. I love how the book was just character building, and world building up till now. The true plot, the true story starts ti reveal its self. It feels like the book reall took off in this chapter. I love it. I love the group we en duo with. At this point of the book, I really became enthralled.
