Bromosexual by Daryl Banner

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/36376601-bromosexual

Stefan, my former best friend and bro, is straight, gorgeous, and cocky as hell. And he's about to ruin my life.

With his backwards cap, lopsided grin, and ripped bod gifted from the gods, he struts around town like he owns it. But I won't let him own me, no matter how hot he's gotten over the past eight years since he went off to become a pro baseball player in the major leagues - and since we had our brutal falling out and everything fell apart.

When a hard night lands him at my front doorstep - desperately in need of a place to stay - I get one look into those fierce blue eyes of his ... and realize our story is far from over.

My former "bro" and I are about to define a whole new term for the steamy, beautiful mess that's destined to happen between the two of us.

  • This is a stand-alone, slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers M/M romance with a guaranteed HEA and no cheating.

This is a great follow up to Mass Psychology of Fascism.

Tagging only works in the comments, don't ask me why, and on reddit is limited to 3 at a time. If you can get just a few updoots though it becomes a lot more visible.

For a book, I'm going to suggest Demolished Man again.

Looks interesting, I'd be down to read that

I diddnt know if I should tag all those people. I was ready to do it earlier, but we already have a few upvotes. And people are Commenting.

I’ll add your book to the list!

I'll give a few suggestions to get us rollin.

Industrial Society And Its Future - Ted Kaczynski

This is the book I'd want to read and discuss with intelligent independent thinkers. I think this book has some very important critiques of modern society that would lead to some great discussions. Kinda heavy material, but it isn't that long, I'll keep the rest of my suggestions lighter

I'll suggest a few classic literature pieces

Crime And Punishment - Fyodor Dostoevsky

Originally suggested by FuckYourMom, Great classic novel, there is societal commentary and some serious evaluations of morality. I've read this (a long time ago) and it is a very good suggestion.

A Brave New World -Aldous Huxley

This seems like it would be up Saiditors alley. It's very similar to Orwell's 1984, but predates it. I assume many are like me have read 1984 already, but not this one.

And a sci-fi suggestion

Lord of Light - Roger Zelazny

I haven't read this either, but its been on my list for a while. Sci-fi work similar to Dune, written around the same time. The movie Argo, where the CIA makes a fake movie, the fake movie is about this novel. Its a novel about rebelling against powerful and corrupt authorities.

Both books were required reading for me, but wouldn't mind rereading either. It's been a while.

Damn I didn't even realise I was on this list. Haha. That makes me feel SO good... and important. For some reason I wasn't notified though, it's not even in my username mentions either in my inbox.

Unfortunately, I don't read books, but it made me feel important knowing that you care about my opinion anyway. But still, keep me ON the list, so I feel hip and cool.

Will do. I will add you every time!

You can still recommend fun books. We’re reading a book the real panzer suggested, and I don’t think he’s reading this round.

Unfortunately, I don't read books

Then its even more important for you to join Book Club.

It is a really nice, small book. One of these, that makes you wonder, makes you imagine again, if you give it the time, it definitely deserves. You can read it to your children, you can read it all by yourself or for yourself. I fought a long time with myself to propose this. But seemingly, since we have to do all this cloak-and-dagger bs fighting off Jewish bs, this is, where I landed. At home. Where else, anyway ? Everything creative starts with a story like this one, I strongly believe. The magic trick, is the magic trick which has you still wondering. -alike. Keeping asking - alike.

Thanks u/GeorgeCarlin

I shared your post here, if that is okay?

^ The Little Prince - Antoine de Saint-Exupery

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Is this a short book? It says it’s a kids book, and is critically acclaimed across the world. Also, our GeorgeCarlin suggested it. So, I think we might want to throw it in front of our next book, like a three day read and discussion.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It's pretty short, found a pdf, its less than 100 pages and theres some little drawings so less than full page text.

Hey, just fyi, I don't think user pings work in posts. I think it has to be a comment. I think there's also a limit of like 3 or something per comment. I would advise against pinging a ton of users at once, because that could be seen as spammy.

Got it. Thank you.
