Most prostitutes are immigrant poor women, both in legal and illegal brothels the women are controlled by pimps and forced to perform sex acts(raped), the money is taken and controlled by pimps. In the Netherlands women are displayed on windows everyone can stop and stare at, like they're not humans but merchandise waiting to be bought. Pimps and clients are men, women are only the sold object. Police officers admitted in reports legalizing the buying of sex acts made it more difficult to prosecute the men beating and forcing the women into it. Legalizing buying sex(worsening the problem) was and is hauled by men as empowering and good, they're sadists, women issues won't be taken seriously by them. Prostitution and femicide are state tolerated extreme forms of violence against women.
