Tossing and turning unable to sleep, I'm playing it over and wonder if there's still room for improvement. I was close to listing all this before, but not only wanted to not burden you with a wall of text, but also didn't want to diminish the huge leap forward of this new direction you provide. Yet, here I am now.

First I thought shorter:
Critical Thinking In The Disinfo Age

Then I thought simpler, and that they're always lying:
Critical Thinking In The Age Of Big Lies

Then I thought it needs more urgency, caution, and danger:
Critical Thinking To Survive The Age Of Big Lies

Then I thought that this isn't a survival guide and there's no guarantees anyone will survive:
Critical Thinking To Survive The Age Of Big Lies

So that's when I landed on:
Critical Thinking To Navigate The Age Of Big Lies

I don't think it's scary enough. I also have a lot of words I could add, but want to keep it short. This is much trickier that you'd think, akin to trying to write a good screenplay rather than a novel.

I was punning off the insane "critical race/gender/clownworld theories" and I hadn't even considered "critical thinking", but really that's really what I'm going for, to front-load folks before they get to conspiracies. Nailing it down like that is really good to help steer the content development when trying to explain what it is and is not. It also provides the thematic context and overarching perspective (aka a voice) from which some of the terminology will be presented.

What do you think of:
Critical Thinking To Help Us Survive This Age Of Big Dangerous Lies

I'm also wondering if I should do two versions. One that does not attack anything specifically (ie. vaccines, lockdowns, authorities, 9/11, conspiracies, etc.), and another one that is as merciless and hard hitting as I can rationally, logically, ethically get, perhaps under another title. Ideally the images would be mostly the same, but the accompanying explanatory paragraph may be different.

Also, I just realized. Duh.
We'll need a sixth section:
Alternatives & Solutions.

That's perfect! It avoids "conspiracy" and is much more open-ended to be whatever the content evolves into.

Or maybe?: " Critical Thinking To Navigate The Age Of Big Lies "

Folks here are keen. I'm getting way more excited too.

Okay, if that's true, then people are fucked regardless. We've already seen countless ways the vaccines are harming people, also cumulatively, so compound fucked plus vaxxed and you've got double fucked twice as fast.

Same story: humanity is fucked, by the ruling class, intentionally, in every way possible. They have engineered the food crises, economic collapse and inflation via retarded tyrannical lockdowns, and whatever this health crisis is. Add to that social chaos via critical race, critical gender, critical censorship, critical war, etc etc etc. The manufactured Great Reset is Ordo Ab Chao. Our best hope is to build our own fair resilient alternative orders from their chaos.

Not sure I buy the idea of blame-shifting. The dangers of COVID were over-hyped and vaccines under-hyped -

... You'll see. They massively UNDER hyped the virus by focusing everyones attention on the respiratory symptoms. They even gave those respiratory symptoms their own name (covid).

What they played down was the fact those respiratory symptoms were just the tip of the iceberg. They were the visible symptoms of an out of control inflammatory response to what the virus was really doing and what it was really doing was a massive infection of every major system in the human body including the immune system itself, the cardio vascular system, the central nervous system including the brain, the gastro intestinal system, the kidneys and the liver. The virus survivrs that inflammatiry response by going latent until it is reactivated repeatedly by other infections. This is why people are getting it 2, 3, 4 times and they will keep getting it because they are relapses like herpes outbreaks. Except sars-cov-2 relapses are causing cummulative damage. You wait and see if by 2025 people are not dropping like flies with major organ failure and when they do, they will be blaming it all on the vaccines.

All of that is insightful food for thought.

Adding to what you've said, many truthers are more like preachers, intolerant of other ideas outside their own. And they often don't have the patience or inclination to deal with individuals.

Myself, I don't have interest in debating the minutia of this or that conspiracy either. More importantly in my mind is to present new concepts, terminology, and implant questions in normies to delve deeper for themselves. That why I said, "The book will be an introductory pre-conspiracy primer for folks of all ages, to inspire skepticism and curiosity, before they even delve into rabbit holes." Unfortunately most folks wouldn't recognize propaganda, or tyranny if it sat on their face like a mask.

Not sure I buy the idea of blame-shifting. The dangers of COVID were over-hyped and vaccines under-hyped - intentionally, by the full spectrum dominant corporatocracy.

The post 9-11, robust truthism movement that contributed their spare time to share and examine information on internet forums has been infiltrated, corrupted and censored out of existance by paid government agents and big tech.

Everyone who tries to participate in such internet communities today soon finds out all they are contributing their time to a brick wall of censorship that ensures there is only a bare minimum of community interaction. I don't know how they are doing it exactly but it is definately is based on some kind of complex shadowbanning algorithm that replaces community interaction with with bots and government agents. Are they using man in the middle severs to redirect posts and replies to an alternate, fake community?

Also I think it is very noticable how so many of those today that claim to be truthers rarely if ever interact with the users and followers that post comments in response to their posts. It is as if the purpose is to preach a narrative, but not to discuss it. That is not the behaviour of truthers. That is the behaviour of propagandists and is very prevalent in the anti-vaccine community that are currently working to blame all the previously known effects of infection by sars-cov-2 on the vaccines.

I think if there are any real truthers left out there today, they are fighting against an army of thousands of paid propagandists and bots that masquerade as a truth community and that uses a library of previously prepared false narratives to discredit and ridicule anyone who does figure out the real truth about anything.

I see all of this when I try to discuss the 2019 vaping illness lie. I mean, plain common sense should be saying there is just no way two brand new diseases with identical symptoms happened at the same time in the U.S. in 2019. It is just preposterous to claim they did. One new disease is something very out of the ordinary. Two new ones at the same time in the same place is unheard of. It never happens. Two at the same time with identical symptoms? Preposterous.

Everyone should be seeing, obviously one of them was a lie and that the lie was vaping illness. The reason it had identical symptoms to covid is because it WAS covid and this is all because the covid outbreak had already started spreading here in the US in the summer of 2019 if not before. How long it had actually been spreading before the CDC decided to cover it up by blaming vaping is anyone's guess but it had to be at least as early as June 2019 when it started, probably during the known breaches of containment at Fauci's NIAID bio-research facilities at Ft Detrick.

So why is there no truth movement to discuss this? The biggest crime against humanity since 9-11 and yet there is nothing in response. No one is seeing it has been about blameshifting since the beginning. First they blamed it on vaping. Then they blamed it on China. Now they are trying to blame it on the vaccines. Why the vaccines? Because they are liability exempt.

You said you don't care, yet you cared enough to be negatively critical, repeatedly. That's your prerogative. I can understand your confusion, though others don't seem to share it, and I even understand your dislike of self-promotional shit. But this is the world we live in.

You could argue that clickbait is akin to gaslighting except I clearly explained myself and my motives, so it's not actually deceptive.

I state in my post (and even in the sidebox), that I'm here for feedback. You can look at the rest of my user profile history to see that I'm not as active as I was.

Some of the options are serious. Some are definitely not. If I do my /s/LeverMind Variety Show project then I'll most certainly not be taking myself seriously at all.

But you're not quitting saidit, which is what you put in the title. Judging from the frequency of your comments you don't seem to be taking any different action. Question for you, Is not liking promotional clickbait titles deemed a "demotivational attitude"? Is demotivational even a word? Is it demotivational to point out something objective like, "Hey your titled clearly said one thing but that clearly isn't what you are saying in your actual post?" Is that called gaslighting or something? Either way, clickbait sucks and I don't know if it's necessarily required for self-promotion. Do what you do though my brother, I hope it works out for you. Don't take yourself too seriously though.

You sure are replying a lot on this thread. Generally when someone says they are quitting something it doesnt mean you'll still be around but in a dimished capacity, it means you're done doing that thing. Sounds like you're just kind of quitting, which seems like a cop out but hey man do your thing. You can digitally Photoshop / GIMP it or print it out on a paper and hand colour it. Glue macaroni to it or use glitter if you want. Fill it in with flower petals or spices - or drugs. Whatever. Then take a digital photo or few of it and get it to me. I'll include as many of those images as I can, among my own.

Actually, most interactions are voluntary, not by orders from above by some great decider.

I mean more that most things like businesses, organizations, and enterprises you'd interface with are started and operated by one person, or a small group of people. They typically set standards for acceptable behavior, as one would do for people visiting their home.

The voluntary part is when you consider whether or not their standards are a match with your standards, and decline to engage if they're not. However, limited other options complicates that when your goal is interacting, because then you have to just choose the closest fit, even if there are mismatches.

One could use the freely available code to make a new reddit clone like saidit, but that's an extreme amount of work when the original goal was just to exchange comments with other people online.

That is just so fucking sad.

M7 feels like he's being ganged up on because he's being as dense as a brick wall - then he seeks solace in the only friendly words that come his way.

Worse is his stupid fucking "logic" that I even felt compelled to chime in on. If I was still in protest mode I'd go off on that more.

It's worse than that. Dipshit is gaining m7's trust through low effort comments, reflecting m7's thoughts back to him and flattering him. It appears m7's falling for it. Here's the thread in question. What's gonna happen now? Is Dipshit going to call who is and isn't a troll, and will m7 ban people based on that? This is disconcerting.

Lame shill response.

I don't know you at all.

You've offered ZERO proof that you've watched them.

You've offered ZERO proof that he's a shill for the 1% or that he favors authoritarianism.

You've offered ZERO proof that Corbett doesn't have credibility. Seems like you don't.

You haven't countered any specifics against his well-supported claims.

ALL of his content is AGAINST the establishment. You'd know that if you watch ANY of it.

You are a liar and I can't trust what you claim.

And you're a timesuck wanting me to waste time "in my own words" on a shill.

I agree with 99.99% of James Corbett, Whitney Webb, Ryan Cristian, Derrick Broze, Ben Swan, Kim Iversen, Jimmy Dore, Truthstream Media, reallygraceful, Ice Age Farmer, etc.

You want solutions? Look up "solutions" on TheCorbettReport.com and/or go to the Ice Age Farmer and/or The Conscious Resistance sites.

Perhaps we could start a political movement that would pressure the US Government into allowing Texas secede.

But seriously, smaller government means less regulation for all of benefits of our quality of life. As has been shown, states will abuse their populations mercilessly, because of the corrupt systems already in place in many states.

I'm all for the government directly employing unskilled labor to work on infrastructure projects. But following on the heels of the great depression, anything could have been called a great success.

How many more new deals can we have before income tax is 80% and the middle class is entirely dead? The Federal Reserve failed their mission, the New Deal failed their mission, big government is not the answer.

I favor decentralized strong states. The federal government was framed with a very limited set of responsibilities for a reason.

That was dope, a lot of it seemed ahead of its time!

Thanks. LOL, I won't argue with that. Some of it's dated now, mostly 90s. I was drawing Monsters High and Bratz-like grrls long before they were ever a thing. And before I knew what real spy craft is about I was developing a 6-girl team called Fashion Action, fashion models by day, secret agents by night. Ignorant propaganda glamorizing evil-doers, long before Kim Possible existed too.

I saw a good amount of designs that would make cool embroideries for hoodies and clothing imho.

I think my old Café Press stuff is still up. Some of it was for a toy store, and eco clothing line, this, that, whatever, etc etc etc.

One of my projects I'll be outlining is a community store for us to sell our own stuff (homemade things, crafts, flee market, designs printed on things, and even 3D printed stuff) in our own sections, as well as sections for SaidIt, WikiSpooks, etc.

Your analogy is flawed.

This site and those businesses are OPEN to the public, regardless of who owns them.

Sure it would be nice if there was no government nor regulations, but anarchy is a dream.

So we have the laws of the land, good, bad, and ugly. That means free speech technically should exist and discrimination is technically forbidden. Racist store owners cannot ban people and unless you shout fire in a crowded theater you can share your ideas. OPEN to public, privately owned or not.

I'm surprised you are taking this stance, the same but much bigger regarding the rights of government-funded Corporate Social Media to freely censor their monopoly platforms that are essentially the public square or commons.

There is virtually no lock on the door here, by choice, for anon users without any verification. A questionable choice IMO. Much different than the Corbett Report limited access forum for example, open yet private, requiring donations (or a special invitation for me) and email registration. Even more limited, my old site was just my own content with zero social media.

Actually, I had seriously considered for my return from banning utilizing the Chris Sky vs 30 Cops video as a comparison to myself v M7, but it was not only bad fit, a bad look, a bad comparison, too much room for confusion, too long a clip, etc etc etc. I didn't even look for better/shorter clips. I greatly appreciate his efforts and really really really hope he doesn't become a martyr. IF the powers that be are smart they can figure out a way to utilize the situation in their info-war somehow that may work for their sheeple (all they need is to maintain the majority), but with their monopoly on violence and stupidity of their muscle minions you just never know. It saved the US from a 60 year period of bankrupting policies that were destroying the country, and the 1% were driving all of that corruption. The New Deal invested in the 99%. 2/3rds of the economy that is supported with purchases began to boom, because people had salaries. Without this, the country would not have been prepared to enter WWII, after which began the baby boom and the American Dream. This American Dream is no longer available for the 99%, because of the corruption of the 1%. Another New Deal will be necessary, or the "American Experiment" (in democratic representation) will be over.

He graciously let you back in to the party, so you could dignify this gesture.

LOL. He should have never banned me, slandered me, stalked me, and targeted me with his several arbitrary bullshit rules made for me.

Let him be. Or make your own party bungalow.

The next forum will not be mine - it will be OURS. It's not "if" - it IS happening. People needed to see the problems and be motivated, unfortunately.

Doing both would be ideal.

After today the problems will be dropped to focus on solutions.

Part of the branding/propaganda/whatever I plan to utilize over and over and over again will be something like this: "We obviously have problems, but we're working on solutions." We'll need to never forget that we currently have these problems but we're not gonna blame nor dwell on them any more with grander plans for a brighter future. Some people may get bored of this if it's not creatively and interactively done well (developing manifestos, policies, rules, name contests, logo contests, etc etc etc). Ideally it should build up anticipation and a desire to finally try it out and/or outright migrate. All the while we must repair the community with hope and restore good will within it while not abandoning our history, our purpose, and our more stable resilient future.

Very soon I hope to have the others join me in these development discussions in the wide open.

Parties suck if nobody shows up, but they don't happen if there's no place to party.

It doesn't have to be one person going it alone. It doesn't have to be one person's choice. It doesn't have to be a singular judge, jury, and executioner.

It doesn't have to be, but it's the way most things work. Problems arise when there's a mismatch between the one person and the community. Ideally, the system would result in a closer match in values between members and operators, but the choices are limited.

Almost a perfect term for this. I knew about it but had forgotten the term, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyrrhic_victory. I say almost because there's much more to it. Yes. The phoenix will also rise.

One of my goals has been to get M7 to evolve, not destroy SaidIt nor the community. If this means a couple months of exposing his inadequacies then so be it. I certainly don't wish to drag anyone else into the drama I've chosen to create. I've left out MANY names and I have avoided exposing him much more deeply and I have no interest in utterly shredding him. I've only drawn on recent events. It would be easy to compile lists of examples just from my limited experience and recollections and/or to ask for more. That's unnecessary.

I actually feel bad for M7 but he's been bringing this all on him self. He chooses this path and to be mostly solo - and to alienate people in general.

The beaten dead horse is a skeleton and the emperor wears no clothes. We all see it. This has all been necessary to motivate the folks to the changes we NEED as times are strange, the global tyranny WILL get worse, and things will never get better unless we all collectively prepare our resistance properly. Cory Doctorow said years ago something to the effect that open freedom of communications must be our top priority as everything else is dependent on it. Call me a manipulative social engineering manufacturing consent bastard if you like. Ugly as it may be I've been doing it all in the open with authentic honest intentions being as clear as I can be, whether anyone agrees or not.

Another purpose should be obvious. I've been preparing, inquiring, investigating, and pontificating on a new forum. I do not want to set up my own home servers or home gardens but I know we all need to. It needs to be done to prepare for the future before it's too late to organize properly to resist the technocracy. Not just a guy or two - but ALL of us co-hosting our own instances.

None of this would be possible without propelling the NEED for change, not just a vague want. I'm certainly no mastermind nor some villain, but M7 took every single bait because he's been too busy with whack-a-troll, finding enemies everywhere, even when they are not. This needed to come forth for general justice and for motivation to evolve, with or without him. Sure I took some calculated risks. I knew I could be banned. Either way it would not look good for him. Pros and cons for either.

Maybe all this is just a shitty excuse for my shitty post. But I still think it was as necessary as it was calculating while also being honest. I'm not David and he's not Goliath, but he certainly has several advantages yet stoops to lying, smearing, and nonsense instead of being better. That only makes it worse. More importantly, the censored post was the first time I'd actually asked the community for their valuable feedback and almost all of it was excellent even with diverse views until the interruption. Obviously none of it is a clear cut case.

Today will be my last attempt to ask for a discussion, though obviously not M7's last chance for redemption, which may be a pipe dream. Then I'm done with all of this to wrap up my SaidIt-wide stuff and "quit SaidIt" to focus on my projects, with or without the participation of you, M7, and everyone else. Preferably with.

SaidIt is about more than the owner. Now that it's open and honestly exposed, we can address it, fix it, build on it, and plan for the future. Drama has a purpose, in stories and in life. We wouldn't appreciate the highs without lows and vice versa. With this shitty shit behind us (at least for my part) we can accept it and move on, evolve, and do better. Critically we need as many people to collaborate in decentralizing too or else you just get 2 guys with 2 sites instead of 1 pretending they're resilient. Most of us recognize there are problems. We have solutions to some of them and a few are willing to take steps. There is no need to demonize if there's now a way forward. (By the way, I've never demonized M7. He's been the one to stalk, stoop, and slander. I've only pointed it out.)

SaidIt is built on the shoulders of ye olde Reddit giants, and whatever comes next will be built on the shoulders of the M7 D3 SaidIt giants. Like it or not, all these trials and tribulations are the legacy and a credit to their critical blood sweat and tears along side the tenacity of the sharing community and their critical and critical (2 meanings) content.

I hope we can all discuss things properly.

This.

It also means without spin, manipulation, deception, and slander.

I'm hoping you and everyone will help me bring them forth. I'm doing my best to come up with ways make them interactive to not only make my work a little lighter (maybe not actually), make the projects more interesting and engaging, and of course build community and spread ownership. You'll soon see what I mean. Obviously we all have diverse interests and skill-sets, but together I think we can move mountains even if we can't move M7 too much.
