Hey, I sit like an idiot! How daaaaaare you!

Most of the bi stereotypes seem to be normal behaviors for wealthy college and high school students, which is what most out and proud teen bis are.

Gender nonsense is a puritanical mandated belief for wealthy people (even rich Republicans play along.) They're in a fishbowl reinforcing all the beliefs and behaviors they're being taught at school and passing them on to any other bis that happen along as being "bi culture."

Their community they've found online is mostly just a pile of kids from similar socioeconomic backgrounds reinforcing beliefs and behaviors they're picking up at school.

Hahaha, I sit like an idiot too! I can't sit still and move around a lot...but that might be ADHD kicking in heh.

True, most of the stereotypes are from teenagers---I just cringe when 30+y.o. use the same stereotypes the same way as teens...

I just wish we had a community AWAY from all this gender identity nonsense. The TQ get to have their own space PLUS invade ours---that's what's frustrating...

They're socially sanctioned and we aren't. That's just the truth of it.

In my experience, online bisexual communities have always been obsessed with TQ+, saying they're gay, and random shit like you said:

BI PUNS, I LIKE LEMONBARS, HAVE A BI BOBCUT, CUFF MY JEANS, AND SIT LIKE AN IDIOT FUNNY, HAHAHAHAA".

Checked out the reddit sub. It's just full of mis and disinformation.

I want to know where the people who just live normal lives are.

I've been checking out the more specialized, bi male subs (r/BiBros, r/BisexualMen) and the discussions there seem to be of noticeably higher quality with far less TQ stuff. Have you tried the female equivalents? The main LGBTQ+ subs are bound to be very colonized. There's also relatively little engagement there when you consider the current number of readers, which is now at 1800 for r/bisexual. Not too common can you find the good and relevant posts anymore.

Damn, that post was depressing, but does explain biphobia so well. He has no one to talk to about this except the bisexual community.

Also, I don't think it's very....not sure what the word is---I think it's kinda crappy that he would consider breaking up with his girlfriend because of his parents homophobia. The GF didn't do anything wrong...but if he's not that into her, then I supposed there's nothing wrong with that.

I wouldn't just date a woman to prove a point that "I'm not straight", it's silly.

Good post though. I'll have to check out r/BiBros and r/BisexualMen. I occasionally lurk reddit to see what crazy or interesting content they may have. I have a feeling the female equivalent will either be privated, banned, or invaded by TQ+. :-/ I'll have to keep on the lookout for it.

Yep, that's what I thought as well. I was like, Damn the Torpedoes! Full speed ahead!. It shouldn't matter even if the family aggressively gifts them a house or two(oh noes) just for being a straight couple. Or whether gays think he's betraying them somehow by being bi(he can still be a good role model anyway). He should continue being her boyfriend if there's something there. Too bad that at the time of this post, the future was uncertain because the unwanted attention was actually starting to damage their relationship.

I usually go to niche subs which have nothing to do with TQ. Also, I probably should've realized that there's a much higher chance that female-specific subs would be colonized. That definitely applies to Lesbian subs compared to Gay male subs.
