Nice! We have our own news website, I was a bit envious that the L&G have Lesbian & Gay News.

Anyways, it's interesting to see how bisexuals were treated back then...Do you guys feel it was due to distinct biphobia or moreso this bisexual veteran was seen as "gay" and they banned him from being same-sex attracted? I know that either way is bad, of course, just wondering how much visibility we had back then or if we were lumped in with the L&G?

I'd like to see a collection or collage of articles showing bisexual history leading up to now---with all the craziness happening with becoming "bisexual +/plus", "pansexuality" and "queer".

I would too. I think that site might be a pet project of a bi in the uk.

My two cents, having grown up in a very conservative part of the U.S. (almost the past!) is that no difference is acknowledged between bi and gay outside of the gay community. It's all gay.

It's the same sex attraction that's the issue, and for people who lack any hetero attraction at all that issue becomes much more severe because they can't redeem themselves (in the eyes of the homophobes) with a straight relationship.

There are people who don't like to hear that, but as far as I've seen personally it's the truth.

Definitely homophobia in this case.
