Hi folks.

I'm a little overwhelmed at all the gender and sex stuff suddenly on SaidIt, but for the most part I'm happy about it though wary. I can't even imagine how sexually conservative magnora7 (SaidIt's admin) is feeling since he's almost banned me several times for speaking frankly about sexual stuff like adults (not even graphically). I started /s/Sex where not much has happened. I was assuming some folks might want to talk about sex, gender, babies, kink, whatever but nope. I had never expected SaidIt to boom quite so much, nor that there'd suddenly be so many flavours of subs to visit. For a while it was all we could do to have very generalized places to post.

I'd never talked about being bisexual to people, it just happened, way back then, and it wasn't an "identity", and there were many circles of friends and family that I never cared to share any of that with. The first time I spoke openly about it anywhere was here on SaidIt when I was being honest to asstrolls in chat who I was telling not to use names ("faggot", "nigger", etc), so they started up thinking they were going to get me upset and I flipped it on them by speaking honestly to their chagrin. That was less than 2 years ago.

Hey! Was thinking we can maybe come up with post flairs and user flairs for this community to use?

  • Bisexual gender/sex symbol { we can use ⚥ or the infinity symbol and/or the female bisexual symbol along with the male bisexual symbol }
  • Moon symbols { Moons here }
  • Female Exclusive Bisexual(FEB) { can use pink moons like the above to represent it }
  • Male Exclusive Bisexual (MEB) {can use blue moons like the above to represent it }
  • Then for guests can use the appropriate symbol or flag {gay, lesbian, straight, trans}

EDIT: Nevermind on the ⚥ symbol, that symbol is for intersex people only. It's not a bisexual symbol---can still leave it if intersex people are checking out the thread.
