Japan hasn't preserved the NE Asian phenotypes better than N China and Korea btw, you're obviously using selective bias. But your examples look good.

When you hear that Park Chunghee's policies repelled Chinese immigrants, who else could they be? Not PLA based types that's for sure since the regime is hostile. yeah there were several names for them I think. also a good way to maintain the northern character of the original Qin-era bloodline.
