alot of it hinges on the PRC unfortunately, for geographic/economic/population reasons. China is the biggest disappointment in our race historically, several times they had a chance and they blew it (Zheng He etc.) There was a never a moment post-1850 where China reached Japan's 1931-1945 level of basedness, as imperfect as that was.
