Pessimism is allowed, but do it in a constructive manner, i.e. don't be a complete defeatist.
The Viets, who live in the tropical South, are 100x more of the macho fighters than modern Koreans, who live in the North

if you want to know what it is like to REALLY just have one season, then go to Tibet. It is in the geographic south, but the high elevation means the mountains are covered in unmelting snow all year long. The air is chilly and thin, and you literally cannot hyperventilate. If you want to take a shower, then you have to bath in extremely cold water that just flew down from the snow. The Tibetans are actually ranked as the strongest people there is due to their incredibly strong physiology, which is required to survive there.
