I owned a couple of these bad boys. I know the picture is cute and all, but this isn't very nice for the fish! I don't like being "that guy", but ideally a pufferfish should never puff up. If they do, it means they think they're about to die.

They're great fish and are like little submarines. Not very quick or bright, but man are they pretty. Mine played well with the other fish and it was fun watching them move. They sort of "float" through the water instead of "swim".

I saw a site that teaches people that puff up the fish for fun...and selling them.

That is just unforgivable. As a kid, my dad and I would surf cast for blues and drum but often caught puffers. I'd always take the hook out carefully and throw them back, watching them float out in the surf.

I didn't take the picture but the little critter is cute and I sure hope he's still floating around out there. It reminds me of some people I know...as in puffed up. No, I'm the kind of guy that, if I see it first, wouldn't step on an ant.

well i think its because saidit is prety new-RIGHT?-not many people on it yet,so its nothing to do with your post, i just seen the Aww sub,and i knew the title from reddit
