Why many high profile people are pedos?

As I understand it, pedo activity is generally used as blackmail material. It is a method of control.

Some actually enjoy it (Podestas, etc.), But many do it to join the club.

If they fall out of favor then they are reported, disgraced, etc.

Typically, they don't see jail time, because they could damage others in the club.

Edit: To clarify, powerful groups will find pedos and put them in power, or coerce power hungry individuals into performing compromising acts in order to control them.

The puppets are allowed to do whatever they want about ABC, but they are forbidden to allow XYZ for fear of reprisal from the blackmailers.
In exchange, the receive elite support.

I disagree, they don't need to be pedos for making unfavorable evidence, they have unfavorable evidence enough if you are in their group.

They don't have any evidence unless the blackmailers provide it, or the courts prosecute.

It a ring is broken up then the evidence is out in the public, and it's useless for blackmail. Those who aren't prosecuted evade punishment.

I've never heard of anyone significant being affected by pedo-association.
