I didn't vote for Trump. However, I'm pretty sure that I understand why many others did. Unfortunately, many here do not. Why did you vote for Trump?

I agree with much of your argument.
The reality is he is essentially a mirror image of Bill Clinton policies, down to his immigration, tariff and social policies..
I disagree with some of this. Trump cancelled the TPP, and attempted to cancel/revise NAFTA. He also increased tariffs. All positive developments.
It seems extreme because the ones who called themselves democrats are essentially socialists/communists now.
Also, disagree here. The Democrats after corporatists, and they serve the corporate oligarchs. That's the literal opposite of socialist. If Eisenhower was president today, then some would call him a radical socialist. He wasn't in the least.
What has happened is that the US public has radically moved to the extreme right; relative to the rest of the world.
