Interesting, I didn't know that page existed, thanks. So they've been aware of it for about half an hour, must not be a super easy fix.

I wouldn't be surprised if a clock somewhere has rolled over, and a cached page is being treated as authoritative.

Reddit is a young, dot com startup, just going through some growing pains. They haven't even got their ethical measures sorted out, much less their infrastructure.

  • Excessive regulations
  • Subs & users banned left and right for no reason
  • Decline of new & original/quality content

It's just not as wild & rich as it once was, it's tightly controlled, and so nothing is interesting anymore, and good users are leaving.
