Like many of us, I'm from r/watchpeopledie. Hoping this place will be less toxic because Reddit has gone crazy since 2016.

Hello my fellow wpd brother! Hope more of us move here, I miss the interesting conversations on that sub. Saidit feels less of a hive mind as it currently stands. Not as far left as raddle nor as far right as voat.

As someone who is pretty-left-leaning I agree. I'm less offended by Reddit's general political stances since I agree with them, but the censorship, corruption, and incessant ads are getting out of hand. Plus, the really problematic subreddits aren't being banned, whereas things like r/watchpeopledie were.

It's your duty to keep it less toxic. Call people out on their shit. I expect it when I do dumb stuff. No one is immune.
