Jk.

I remember ONE THOUGHT I had while I was seeing a pirate movie in theaters with my dad - the ship was sinking and I thought that they could use my little lego boat pretty badly.

Not sure how old I was or what the film was, man that bothers me still that I don't know what movie it was.

I bet I remember it because it's probably the first time I saw someone die... damn... I'm shook now...

My family was living in Iceland at the time, and we had one of those Dala horses. I was riding around on one of those and my mother got angry lol.

I must have been around 5 or 6 at the time. I remember seeing my father and my mother hugging. They were both sad and it just felt like I was seeing something I couldn't quite understand, but I knew it wasn't good.

I think I saw them making up after a fight. They got divorced around that time and there was some pretty big turmoil. I can see it so vividly in my mind still, but I can't remember what I did yesterday...

My earliest memory is from an all-day kindergarten. I'm four or five years old, it's nap time, and I'm fooling around with a cute girl who's on the adjacent cot. Good times.

When I was 5 and sick, and in my bed on a sunny day, and my dad was outside washing his car.

My mom claims to have memories from when she was 2.

Not sure if this one is the earliest, since I don't have any point in time to link it to, but it is one of the earliest ones because back then we still had a VCR (I was born in 2001, so towards the end of the VCR era). I remember fucking with our VCR, opening it up because it looked cool with the parts moving inside, and (inevitably) breaking it at some point. I do think we had a DVD player back then, so it wasn't that much of a big deal. Either that or my dad fixed it. I don't recall.

I have a vivid memory of laying in a 'basket' on the unfinished floor of what was to become my sister's room in our new house while it was still being finished. The winter sun was streaming through the window.

Years later I described this to my mother and she said I would have been about 6 month old at the time and since my parents were going to the house, and taking me with them, on weekends to help out it's entirely possible.

Otherwise my next memory is from when I was about 3 1/2 years old.

I was walking around in my house, when suddenly everything became black. When i woke up, i was in a hospital. My parents said later that i jumped off a sofa and landed head-first on the floor. It happened when i was 2-3 years old. Because of the accident, i couldn't speak for 3 years and was behind the children at school when it came to work. I have recovered from it and attending 7th grade. (14y now)
