I used to have such wonder at the world, just looking at the endless possibilities. I've gradually lost it, and it sucks. It kind of feels like the past me died, even though it wasn't all that long ago I was just a little kid.

You can get that feeling back. The world can be a wonderful place. You have to train yourself to see the positive it as accurately as you can see the negative, or else you're not seeing the whole picture, imo. It's like a muscle you improve by working it out.
