Why isn't IRC working?

type /connect and it will reconnect. If you have any more problems let me know. We haven't opened it up for external connection yet because it exposes our IP address and we have to build a protection for that.

    You can change your IRC nickname in your preferences as a last resort.

    Can you try this: In the chat window, go to the hamburger menu (the 3 horizontal lines in the top-left) and then click the "saidit" server tab (the top thing on the list) then try typing connect. If it connects, then you can change back to #home from that list. That should fix it. If it doesn't, let me know.

    Somewhat i cannot acquire my nick, I can only get my nick with a number.

    That's just a feature of the chat, it will reset in a few days and you'll get your correct username. Sometimes this can happen from using multiple devices
