    Alternative.to is a godsend for me for when I'm looking for things! Didn't know of Owncloud though, what makes it different to DropBox?

    Nextcloud is way more developed than owncloud.

    tildes is run by a former reddit admin -- I'd avoid it.

    EDIT: Might want to add FireAlpaca for Photoshop alternatives, it also works wonderfully

    I've also heard of affinity photo. Haven't really dove into any of the alternatives yet to see which suits me better

    If you want an alternative to Chrome but still have the ability to use Chrome extensions, use Opera.
