If you were in charge of running this country (I assume most of the users here are from the U.S.), what would you change, add, remove, etc. and why?

But we need those. Without government a tiny minority would not be able to take over everything.

Banks and corporations and media aren't violence. Some might commit violence with special protections from the government, but that's not what they are. There will always be violence in an imperfect world, it can never be totally eradicated unless we just lock up everyone on earth. Forcibly shutting down private entities with the power of the state is just as violent, and usually even worse. Because what is the state, but a single massive all-powerful corporation?

I told that person "no advocating violence" because he explicitly called for people to be impaled, which is against the rules on this site because it could (and has before) get it shut down by the powers that be. It's not my response to his sentiment, which is why it's marked with a red letter A.
