Why are articles COMPLETELY different depending if your logged in or logged out?

It's really weird. Watch the article list get totally different between logging in and logging out!!! It's like night and day!

it might be related to showing subscribed vs all?

Yep. Except for being light-mode, the logged out view looks exactly the same as when click "All" at the top. Not very mysterious.

Logged out shows base subscriptions that you get on first sign up. It would never show "all".

Ah. After careful comparison, I guess you're right. But the default subscriptions do overlap with what you see in the "all" view quite heavily.

When you're logged in it shows your subscriptions.
