Why is Steve Jobs so loved despite the fact that he didn't do anything?

He didn't create a single device or technology and was paid to be a professional asshole. His meddling actually almost fucked the entire company but people think of him as some sort of technical genius.

I met bout jobs and wozniak at a computer club event back in the late 70s, Jobs was an ass wipe. Rude and unplesent then however wozniak wass like a best friend.

but he was an innovative designer, promoter, and CEO, responsible for directing many of apple's successes
