She okayed everything, I wouldn't do anything that she didn't want.

You are an example of how NOT to successfully be polyamourous.

Read "The Ethical Slut". It's very good, even if you have no interest in being "different". I have a copy around here somewhere.

There's no fucking so it's not really polygamy. It's like a friendship with extra steps. Almost all the parties are informed and consent, it's ethical on my end. Her dude, well, lets poor out a cold one for him, he doesn't even know there was a second guy, poor schmuck.

Obviously you need to read the book. Polyamoury is NOT just about sex, or about open relationships. It's about intimacy and love (amour) with many (poly) people - respectfully.

The relationship with the wife hasn't been this good in years. Y'all think me talking to Mel was depriving somethin from the wife, but it's outsourcing things she's not interested in, and there are rules. If the wife wanted it ended, she has that option.

You are not justified and your excuses don't hold water or fool anyone, but you are still free to be as crappy as you want to be.

By any contemporary standard measure, your divided selfish focus should be on your wife, fixing that mess, and being a better person.
