Well this is basically what you always have to do. You have to amend your behaviour as you learn what other people are like, you can't do much to amend their's.

I'm a very private person but the rest of my family are very open. I know if I tell my mother something strictly confidentially I might as well tell the whole world so I don't tell her much. No matter how much I shouted and screamed at her as a kid it never changed the way she behaved. In fact I've never known someone to change their level of openness when it comes to talking about other's lives. It's one of those things that is pretty much set in stone so you have to work around that. Looking at the screenshots she clearly doesn't get what you are concerned about and that's not something you can teach her.
