Am I imagining you moping because you wanted to buy your internet girlfriend a present and it caused you to fall out with your wife?

and there's evidence she DOESN'T like it

She didn't like me getting so attached, and I don't blame her.

I don't know why anyone's wife would put up with half of the disloyalty that M's wife has supposedly allowed

There's no disloyalty when it's done with her approval.

It's more like a work wife, but for the internet. Internet girlfriend. You're talking like I have a side piece I'm banging.

The situation also predates the wife by four years, not Mel, but her predecessors. I like to call them The Bored Housewives Club collectively.

Indeed, nothing should get in the way of one's narcissism, ego, and lack of loyalty, not even marriage, or even an unhappy marriage.

        On target.

It's a super happy marriage. Just about to go play out game together.

        Peace out nerds!

You are an example of how NOT to successfully be polyamourous.

Read "The Ethical Slut". It's very good, even if you have no interest in being "different". I have a copy around here somewhere.

There's no fucking so it's not really polygamy. It's like a friendship with extra steps. Almost all the parties are informed and consent, it's ethical on my end. Her dude, well, lets poor out a cold one for him, he doesn't even know there was a second guy, poor schmuck.

Yeah, he doesn't notice me texting you constantly, what a fucking retard. Of course he knows about you.

Not sure what you ever saw in Musky, but I do with d3rr. There are other good folks here too. Also, if you feel charitable, compassionate, patient, and generous, you might even find some nice online company in an InCel or few.

        *Used to text constantly.

Obviously you need to read the book. Polyamoury is NOT just about sex, or about open relationships. It's about intimacy and love (amour) with many (poly) people - respectfully.

The relationship with the wife hasn't been this good in years. Y'all think me talking to Mel was depriving somethin from the wife, but it's outsourcing things she's not interested in, and there are rules. If the wife wanted it ended, she has that option.

        [–]JasonCarswell 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

You are not justified and your excuses don't hold water or fool anyone, but you are still free to be as crappy as you want to be.

By any contemporary standard measure, your divided selfish focus should be on your wife, fixing that mess, and being a better person.
