My friend John brought that Free Hugs sign last night, and I dressed up with the name tag "Gnome O'Tierny" (more on that later), to go to a documentary. Big community turnout, but disappointing documentary.

Use it freely. Hump er dry. I don't need credit. I could even design better vector versions to print out. I could get better photos of it, though the sign has been beaten up since then.

It was at a drive-in theatre - in the dark. Didn't get much out of my Gnome O'Tierny (pronounced: no more tyranny) costume nor his sign. He still gets his hugs.

Fact: There's nothing wrong with self-promotion. If you don't toot your own horn, no one else will. Learn from constructive criticism and ignore the inevitable abundance of haters in their tedious existences. The only way you get good is by trying, failing, learning, and trying more - so don't let them stop your necessary training.

For the last few weeks I've been thinking of starting a new sub but I'm always too busy/distracted. The sub would be for our artists, musicians, video/filmmakers, writers, etc., inspired by underrated /u/TonyDiGerolamo, and sadly missing /u/SierraKiloBravo. Eventually I'll finish some of my /s/LeverMind videos too.

/s/SaidItCreatives or /s/SaidItCreators seem like appropriate names, unless you've got better ideas.

I like the sound of s/SaiditCreatives better. For some reason s/SaiditCreators sounds more corny while the former sounds more classy. I don't feel comfortable removing people's posts though, even if it's blatantly spam. So I don't wanna be a mod or anything. Lmao. Feel free to make it yourself though, I honestly think it's a pretty good idea.

I think its more that "actual nazi" is the inverse of "no true scotsman" as we have no idea what "actual" implies. I collect perspectives for fun and I have no idea which angle you're coming from. Also, great leaders can lead a nation to recognize its greatness. Once that's done, it is relatively easy to keep it going on its path of greatness. Yes, Hitler was a Great Leader. There are others in the world who have similar leadership acumen.

Putin is probably a Great Leader, but Russia and Russians have been so deeply marked by communism that turning them fascist would require just too much work to be done in a single generation or two. You'd need multiple.

But the point of fascism isn't the Great Leader, although that does help. The point is uniting the population towards a common ideal. It is so simple, so effective, yet people such as you are unable to see its benefits.
