if you're a nice little sheep or a government bot you won't be banned

[–]Brewdabier 13 insightful - 3 fun13 insightful - 2 fun14 insightful - 3 fun -  (2 children)

And if you disagree you get banned, currently my new account is 12 days old and I have a -45.

Sounds like virtual rape. Agree or be punished. Ass times lol

It's like Jurassic Park out here!

If you repeat our lies, even though you don't believe half of them really, you won't be banned.

Corporate shills and hasbarim are welcome too.

They've been going crazy with the bans for years now. I always wonder about you new peeps, what took you so long?

Well, here now lol. I think it's because out of all the apps that are like reddit don't have such a huge following already

They only started banning everyone in 2020. Before that it just took a lot of effort to follow the rules, but if you had a squeaky clean record they usually wouldn't do anything. Even if they were desperate to ban you. The slightest technicality or subjective rule would make you toast though.

    [–]Adventurous_Ad6212 8 insightful - 10 fun8 insightful - 9 fun9 insightful - 10 fun -  (0 children)

I got banned on an account for defending the rights of trans people in R/Tumblrinaction. all reddit said was I was reported for breaking the rules too many times. Well I'll break the rules one thousand times if it means my cunt cleaver can get sucked by other lesbians against their will in order to end terfism.

I can't imagine being cucked enough to not get banned there. I chewed through about a dozen accounts between 2015 and 2020. Finally just gave up. Fuck those semen-slurping pederasts.

    [–]TimothyMcFuck[S] 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I was banned from replying to someone who called a third person a retard for saying:

    Retards are people too.

    [–]Alienhunter 6 insightful - 10 fun6 insightful - 9 fun7 insightful - 10 fun -  (0 children)

You can't say retard the mods don't like being reminded of their condition.

    Ridiculous

The shadowbans are the worst over there.

    [–]DrPVM 8 insightful - 2 fun8 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

If you commit wrongthink they will stamp on your face forever

    [–]Newzok 8 insightful - 2 fun8 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Yup. And on subs that are at least a little irreverent, everyone is expecting the subs to be banned eventually. Stupidpol has a guideline to avoid discussing trans related topics because it inevitably brings the ban hammer. Which is hilarious because its an anti-idpol sub. The air of paranoia is tangible.

    [–]iDontShift 7 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

it bans anyone that dares to think for themselves

that means any content which might inspire (wrong) thought

    [–]nautilistic 7 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 2 fun -  (7 children)

If you criticize gender specials or Islam you get banned.

    Funny how that works.

Add people with darker skin tones and the current COVID variant's ability to evade the first vaccines.

    [–]LordoftheFlies 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

On the subject of Covid and how it keeps mutating and splitting off into all of these new variants so quickly, does anyone else half suspect that this is the work of a lab rather than nature? Or is it just me drifting off into tinfoil hat country?

    [–]Herpa_Derpa_Island 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

I think it's pretty standard behavior that a coronavirus will mutate at the rate COVID has mutated. I don't think it's unlikely by any means that COVID came from a lab -- in fact I expect that as part of our regular psyop regimen, we are meant to suspect and flip shit about the possibility it came from a lab -- but I don't think the adaptive behavior of the virus in itself really correlates to the likelihood that it did come from a lab.

of course if the virus was specifically mutating into apocalyptic strains that were terrifying and justified everyone flipping the fuck out, that would probably point to the likelihood the virus came from a lab, since coronaviruses generally don't do that. However in my view this is largely a concoction of the media and the strains themselves have never been especially worrisome to begin with.

    [–]Insider 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

The China variant was very likely planted. It didn't match the variant in North America and there's numerous lines of evidence, when added together, looks like it was pre-planned.

However in my view this is largely a concoction of the media and the strains themselves have never been especially worrisome to begin with.

The high r0 of the virus is what made it dangerous, not the mortality rate. A lot of the severe cases have also been pretty bad, severe pneumonia damaging your lungs, myocarditis if severe enough could lead to heart failure, cytokine storms, organ failure, and ppl just inexplicably dropping dead.

    [–]Herpa_Derpa_Island 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I'm aware of these things. Personally, I worked at a nursing home for two years all throughout COVID -- after seeing uncountable numbers of residents in their 80s and 90s laughing off their COVID infections, literally mocking us for following protocols despite practically all of them having preexisting conditions that were rather severe, my model has little choice but to assume a psychogenic / voodoo element as the most likely explanation for the atypical severity and deaths among the young and healthy. Not to mention, of course, that I actually watched the motherfuckers casting the spell

    [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

First: It is tinfoil-hat-heaven, quite obviously. You just gotta be careful to not fly too close to the sun. Others may call it "psych ward" from time to time, but who gives a fuck about those dogmatists anyway. No imagination left in them whatsoever when they sacrificed it at the altars of eternally stupid traditions.

    Second: Nope. I assure you.

    Oh and welcome, btw.

Ah, so that's why, lol It's fine.

Hope you will enjoy our little community. Here, you will not banned for daring to have your own opinion.

    [–]brimshae 6 insightful - 3 fun6 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 3 fun -  (2 children)

No, but if you didn't want to be banned you should've sucked the tranny dick.

You also need to stop calling out pedophiles, not liking pedos is transphobic.

Stick to forums about gaming or such. That's the only thing you can discuss on Reddit. Except if the game goes woke and you happen to dislike it, obviously.

    [–]Alienhunter 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

True to a certain extent but self professed gamers are some of the most censorious and opinion intolerant people you'll meet. It's telling how emotional and defensive some people get when you mention you don't like their favorite game. Especially if your reasons for not liking it are the same reasons they like it.

JRPG and anime adjacent stuff like Nintendo tend to be the worst for this I think. Lots of these people just can't fathom that other people aren't exact carbon copies of themselves and their likes are different so they'll flat out ban opinions they don't like for wrong think if they are given mod powers.

Also Reddit is astroturfed as fuck and gaming is big business. I never assume opinions I see there are organic. Devs do mod their own game subs and some love to drop the ban hammer on critical takes.

    [–]TimothyMcFuck[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

You couldn't be more right. I've heard the gamers are the worst

yes, I get banned in under 2 days lately.

Last time was for saying "A biological woman has never had a penis."....banned

    [–]TimothyMcFuck[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

I wish I was. I was banned from Truth Social yesterday after sharing that video of a black man beating a woman down in a NYC subway. I shared a few of those the days before.

    [–]jerkwad152 5 insightful - 3 fun5 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

Reddit is at least 75% bots, so pretty much, yeah, they do.

    [–]Herpa_Derpa_Island 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

anyone else here banned randomly by hundreds of subs for posting in NoNewNormal, only to ultimately get Reddit banned for subreddit ban evasion after losing track of the impossible number of subs that banned you in the first place? That's my story. I've been lurking on Saidit for years, I'm an old C_S_T poster, but it's only my fairly recent COVID wrongthink that got me kicked from Reddit for good.

    [–]Vulptex 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

I've literally had accounts suspended for being reported for ban evasion. Without having actually done it.

    [–]Herpa_Derpa_Island 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

funny you say that since after my clusterfuck of random subreddit bans I literally don't even know whether I did it.

    [–][deleted] 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

They don’t need human participation any more. If you is isn’t less than 75, your not welcome.

    [–]Psychosomatic 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Honestly, I didn't know Reddit had real people on it until I saw all these refugees stumble upon this place. I thought Reddit was just bots, leftist trolls and paid shills.

    [–]Vulptex 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

That's all that's left after they banned everyone.

Yes, yes they do. Have for years.
Made a reddit account in 2013 just to join private crypto communities. Haven't logged in since 2016 when they started going full commie on nonpolitical unrelated subs. Never posted a single word on that cancerous website I just liked and disliked crypto memes and news.
Last January I received an email stating my account was permanently banned for wrong think. (Not commenting on, but simply downvoting communist posts in 2016)

      [–]Vulptex 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I haven't logged into most of my accounts for 2-4 years now because the admins changed the passwords. Trying to reset it doesn't work either, even with a verified email.

      [–]Vulptex 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

Sorry, I'm pretty much required to censor this because you advocated violence. Especially when it's toward specific individuals saidit would be dropped and probably get in legal trouble if this were allowed.

        u/imbicile is a Socks account.

        As it seems is /u/asshole.

Is it time to make a /s/socksAlts sub to discuss and expose his alts? Or /s/BanEvasion?

Each post could be the name (ie: /u/asshole), linked to the corresponding account (ie: https://SaidIt.net/u/asshole), with a discussion beneath it, including links to evidence building a case.

        [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (10 children)

Might as just use the report button.

        [–]JasonCarswell 1 insightful - 3 fun1 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 3 fun -  (9 children)

The report button is usually ignored. I report the Anti-American Bot every time I see it, not just once, but everything in its new user feed upon suspicion and verification - yet it may persist under a single alias for days or weeks before finally being forced to make its next alias.

Social interactions raise awareness about the problems, characteristics, what to watch for, and watch out for, and if he's not a paid shill, we might even be able to shun him enough that he leaves. The community needs to be educated and aware.

Whether on SaidIt or new decentralized instances, our communities need to openly develop counter-infiltration practices and self-regulating management methods that don't leave our communities vulnerable and dependent on egos like M7, nor over-burdening the admins like M7 and his team. Freedom is not free - we all need to contribute.

        [–]Vulptex 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

If you don't like a user, block them.

I recently configured some better methods for dealing with these accounts, but u/magnora7 hasn't reviewed it yet.

u/d3rr approves of it, but as I've said before only magnora has any decisive power on saidit.

        [–]JasonCarswell 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

        I take it that it's not share-able?
I hope it's more thorough and effective than "block".

        [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

the Anti-American Bot every time I see it

That's fucking airbus lol, and airbus's many, many accounts.

        [–]Airbus320 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

        😮

        [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I was so shocked it was you. I spent a lot of time deleting those comments when I was a site mod. Hah.

        [–]Vulptex 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Also, I do not ignore the report button. If I'm scrolling through posts and something is reported it will stand out. Keep in mind, the report button is for both mods and admins.

        [–]JasonCarswell 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

The report button is usually ignored ineffective.

Reporting them automatically adds that content to hidden.

I do it for the good of SaidIt, not for my own aesthetics.

        [–]Vulptex 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It's not ineffective. Much of what I remove was previously reported by users, and sometimes that's how it catches my attention.

        [–]Vulptex 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

As a matter of fact the admins somehow designed a literally impossible automatic ban algorithm (detects you across devices and networks) specifically for me and Obama_Brigade. This is far beyond any other ban that's ever been documented. Even worse than the one go1dfish got where they IP ban you and ban you on sight and change your account passwords, which also happened to me twice. And I never even broke one of their stupid rules, only brought up defaultmods and made /r/The_Cabal.

        [–]Mazurro 2 insightful - 4 fun2 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 4 fun -  (0 children)

        I doesn't ban faggots.
