Click on a user's name, and then on the green +friends button. When you click friends in the top bar, you'll see a chronological list of content submitted by friends.

(The name is deceptive: nothing gets communicated to the user you're friending, and nothing needs to be reciprocated. It really is a way of subscribing to someone.)

I believe there's also an RSS feed for every user, so you can subscribe that way and aggregate the feeds in your feed reader.

When I was investigating the RSS feature, I stumbled across an unexpected redirect. How does this happen? When I click the URL below, I see an old, random post screenshot from 3 years ago.
