A site full of trolls dedicated to making fun of lolcows. They got away with doxxing people for years and it was apparently all fine and dandy, but then when they criticized a trans person that was too far.

Kiwi Farms was originally started as the CWCki Forums, a meeting place for Chris-Chan trolls. Chris-Chan was the first internet lolcow, but at some point Null/Josh Moon took over the site and expanded its focus to lolcows other than Chris-Chan and renamed the site Kiwi Farms. The site began to discuss other lolcows like Pamperchu, Jace Connors, Andrew Dobson, as well as internet drama in general. Kiwi Farms is not politically driven or far right -- it's a place for users from all across the political spectrum to discuss lolcows; several right-wing figures like Ethan Ralph, Nick Fuentes, and Donald Trump have threads on Kiwi Farms. Additionally, Kiwi Farms frowns upon people who try to directly interact with lolcows or devise trolling plans -- it could be said that users there are bound by a Prime Directive not to interact with lolcows.

Kiwi Farms is unique among other internet drama sites like r/subredditdrama and Know Your Meme because it allows free speech and the publishing of lolcows' personal information. Because the site allows free speech and Null himself is gender critical, lots of trans people like Yaniv began getting threads and subforums. This is eventually what led to Cloudflare dropping Kiwi Farms' .net domain -- a thread was made on a very terminally online, very well-connected trans activist who used their connections to start a Twitter campaign to get Cloudflare to drop Kiwi Farms all because this one trans activist let their thread live in their head rent-free.

I have seen them describe themselves as an e-gossip site, they follow internet personalities, and often criticize them. Some have been doxxed, 3 suicided although it's kind of dubious what role Kiwi Farms played.

Kiwi farms is like a gossip board. They find stupid people on the internet who cause drama and document it. It's like, TMZ for internet junkies. They're the internet paparazzi.

Which also means sometimes they stir the shit for fun.

Some of the usual stuff you see on here, about how the Jews control the world, casual homophobia, etc. Didn't seem to much be a point of conflict for them, and wasn't related to the purpose of the site. Not a place for the easily offended. That sort of stuff was just "there." Think like 4chan banter.

KF may have smelled of shit, but so were the people they focused on. Seemed to target the most egregious bad actors on the internet. They didn't have it out for just your random person.

Have you ever been in a love/hate relationship with an online content producer - where you consume and pore over their content because you hate it so much.

Well, KF is a place where you can join with other obsessive stalkers to talk about various internet personalities' home addresses, anything that's known about their families or personal lives. Really shining a magnifying glass on their most embarrassingly earnest content.

I guess one comparison I have in mind is celebrity blinds or Perez Hilton style blogs, where authors who totally hate a celeb will snark over their lifestyles for hours and hours.

The particular flavour of KF that was different to Perez Hilton bloggers are the level of obsessive stalking, plus, the target selection.

Preferred by KF are anyone who is earnest in their vulnerability. You don't just have to have some vulnerability like being openly trans. You have to be earnest about it, perhaps a campaigner, someone who can draw attention then say something while it's held.

The term "lolcows" in my mind means, anyone who is embarrassingly earnest in their vulnerability. Then the KF forums pull together to obsessively detail their victims lives with no limit, become quasi -stalkers, and talk about the fantasies of what they'd like to do to their victim targets.

no one really cared about them until they committed the internet sin of making fun of an extremely narcissistic troon, who then herded his fans to DDoS the site and harass its network host into dropping them. when that didn't work they faked a bomb threat.

the collective result of all this drama is that more people than ever know about KF and that keffals was a fart porn actor.

It was a forum, i think the admin said he was going to release the 7gb site on a torrent if can't get it back up, then they will host it on decentralised solution. I don't think they will stop it
