Is it possible to get a remote IT job without a degree?
submitted 1 year ago by sneako from self.AskSaidIt
I'd rather be homeless than work a real job so it's either this, customer service, or selling my body to big pharma to experiment on

Thanks to leftists and their "fairness" standardization of everything, you can't even work at McDonald's without a degree anymore. Preferrably one from a SJW-infested school. When Donald Trump suggested some job's hiring be based on ability rather than status in academia they freaked out. Because they can't manipulate that.

That is why they attack IQ tests so passionately. It is literally illegal to use any kind of test in which a protected group does worse than whites. It's called "disparate impact".

My employer gives applicants an IQ test. We do not require a degree.

Who owns the company?

Some dude, mostly. I think he has minority owner investors.

If you know what you're doing it should be possible
Supposedly these guys will give coding tests and if you can code, they connect you to an employer. They vet you and the hiring company pays them some fee from what I understand

Are remote IT jobs something that exist much? I know that in software development being remote is not much of an obstacle, but when I hear "IT" I think about people who have to actually be on-site at times.
And that said, I don't think you necessarily need a degree to work in IT or software development. I do think a real theoretical CS degree is excellent preparation for being a developer.

Yes. As long as you have the skills. Strong 6 figures is possible.

How would they know?
Sell your body.
