Actually, Kiwifarns still exists,you just need to use TOR browser to acces it ☝️🤓

If that works, wouldn't just using the IP address instead of the domain name work?

ETA or just pointing at a non-standard DNS server? Hosts file entry?

Ah, thanks. I think the things I suggested (use of an IP or a HOSTS file entry) won't work for a .onion address. There's some built-in obfuscation there that makes .onion routing more complex than just translating an address to a known IP. You're not just hiding from the server (a la TOR browsing of regular sites), the server is hiding from you.
