I think people should be allowed to make that choice. But personally I wouldn't limit my dating pool like that. I think it's possible to have opposite political views and still have a loving relationship.

You never know what kind of cool people you could meet if you're open-minded.

Echo chambers are boring. Marry someone that you can disagree with respectfully and there's always something to talk about.
