It's odd how active it is here considering how few people there are.

I think our small size has to do with administration a bit, there's been way too many bans for a site this size. Luckily it's super easy to just make a new name (or 40). The big user numbers you'll see in some subs, that's from something else though, that was the server threatening to shut the place down if IP2 wasn't banned.

I like smaller communites personally, and although it's not under active development, D3 (code monkey & part time pimp) and M7 did some good work while they did. You can block subs, see inline images, there's a dark mode, chat. Reddit added a lot of that stuff eventually, but it's been here for a while and imo is easier to use and less buggy. And this is not a for-profit site. It's not intended to be. I think that's awesome.

I think there's a small but dedicated group who really likes this place and we ain't going anywhere.

There's also a few seriously mentally ill people. You know for all the virtue signaling people do on social media about how much they care about mental health issues, they'll sure ban the shit out of the crazies and some of them end up here.

And there's a few nazis. Used to have a tranny admin. It's a really diverse crowd. Well stocked human zoo.
