Reddit is so trash its incredible. Truly defines the word incredible.

Anyways, on to my suggestion. Try to find a state organization (assuming this is a state law) with a focus on hunting and fishing. Most of these will be interested in something like your issue, anything that affects the outdoors. I don't hunt or fish but I also like kayaking, hiking, other outdoor things and in my state they mostly focus on hunting/fishing but I do find them friendly to all recreational outdoors things even if to a lesser extent.

I bet if you put in a few hours, over a month, of content creation or curation you could forge your own community. Here, or some other free corner of the net or your own BB.

You have a good community concept! Fun topic to be likeminded about

Oh! You should also try 4chan's /out/ board, probably lots of likeminds there.

I did. I didn't get any messages of support like I got on saidit, but they were only a little hostile and not aggressively hostile like reddit. I also posted to a survivalist forum. I did get a messages of support, but most of the posters seemed authoritarian.
