How often do you lurk communities but never join the platforms they populate out of principle?

For me, I would say very often. Example: Xonotic has a split community on Discord, but I will not sign up for Discord. The same goes for platforms I have already left. I am very often disappointed by free and open source projects gravitating to scummy, proprietary platforms.

I just lurked here when WatchPeopleDie got banned from Reddit. It's rare though, I usually want to share my thoughts with everyone.

That's basically what I'm doing on Reddit now. I used to use it a lot contribute a ton of very popular content. Then I finally got disgusted by all those groomers, pedophiles and degenerates, and deleted everything. Now I just screenshot their idiocy and post elsewhere for normal people to laugh at.

Given none allow you to comment without joining, I would say none.

I joined many but I cannot possibly visit all of them daily.

I have one I spend time on mostly and the rest are alternatives.

Also, Gab is going down soon, Torba the Christian NeoNazi keeps fucking up his own platform (format and ads, functionality and no security admins.) and it's not censorship, yet.

    Try to avoid those sites but given that I like seeing the sources of a lot of illustrations I browse online that often forces me to visit twitter. Sometimes I also visit reddit, but that get's rarer and rarer, almost as if that site has less and less to offer to people who aren't woke commies.
