Jesus warned there would be famines before his return and he was crucified for speaking the truth. The world rulers don't want the truth to be revealed because they would lose power over people. Unexpected food shortages causes people to panic and do whatever their rulers tell them, like to enter a FEMA camp with the promise of receiving food. But if people are warned, they can prepare and make the necessary changes to be able to survive and help those they love survive without turning to the government for "help".

Mark 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

Repent.

"The Bible said so" has been used to justify countless doomsday predictions and literally every single one was wrong.

There is no real evidence that a famine is imminent.
