That shows up possibly 20 comments below the that comment. A dislike score would show up right beside the comment.

I'd only tolerate a downvote if it didn't work like on reddit where it buries the comment. If the sorting was based ONLY on the upvotes, and downvotes would be merely additional information that could work. Tho stuff like that is also easier to abuse with bots, so there's that problem.
