Yeah, when you get banned from the mainstream extreme left wing sites, you have the other side of the coin. Both result in a certain amount of extremism in the more susceptible participants. But this was initiated by the left, they naively thought that silencing people would quash their ideas when all it did was drive them further from their sphere of influence.

They should have been allowed to continue with obvious lies? Well they did continue, until subs like 'theDonald' were banned in January 2021 for spreading lies. theDonald was similar to any sub dedicated to a certain party the only difference was that it was very popular and reddit couldn't stand it that their favorite subs weren't that successful

lol, shows how clueless you are. At this point wikipedia is merely an extension of the mainstream news and curated similarly to reddit, with almost the same biases. And even if it worked the way its supposed to it'd still be a terrible source because it has NONE permanence. What you see today might get completely rewritten tomorrow.
