Done well it might stop the rich crackers from accumulating wealth, but it won't stop you from feeling spiritually dead inside - let me explain why.

Communism is public ownership of the means of production. Essentially this is the principle of democracy applied to the economy. While the material goods will be more evenly distributed, it does not solve the problem of alienation you refer to.

Alienation will necessarily happen in communism as well. If the majority of society determines that they want to use the means of production and your labor in a way you do NOT agree with, and are in the minority, you are in the same situation as you were under the capitalist overlords. You will still feel spiritually dead inside and alienated unless you are always in the majority (this isn't statistically likely)

Neither capitalism or communism are satisfactory solutions to the problems you bring up.

People need access to the means of productions and the autonomy to use it as they see fit, or to engage in voluntary communal projects with others, having the ability to opt out and live off their own capital at any time

So basically, internet forums that go out of their way to alienate you will not be fixed under hard communism either and won't fix their dying issue even though the rich crackers are no longer racketeering off of it?

Yes, I think these sorts of social relationships would be much the same, if not even more regulated. Group think and othering are unavoidable in a democracy. Once you demarcate a majority and a minority, it is always in the interest of the majority to dominate and other the minority.

If anything, unorthodox views would likely be even more unacceptable. A cracker profiteer at least has a financial motive to allow even the minority opinions to be expressed. A democratic economy not based on profit would have no such compulsions about shutting down 'dangerous' alternative views
