Anyone else notice gas prices shooting up? Here in Arkansas, USA, it went up 33 cents a gallon seemingly overnight.

That's right, from $3.06 to $3.39, a jump of 33 cents. That was at Walmart, which has the cheapest gas in my area. I haven't looked at the price yet today.

33 has occult meaning and it seems like 33 is common in the news. 33 deaths reported here, 33 this 33 that. Then again confirmation bias is aslo a thing.

The most important meaning I associate with #33 is that was the age of Jesus when the world crucified him. What appeared evil, to publicly execute an innocent man in the prime of his life, was actually victory for his believers. He became a curse for us, making us free from sin and death. As Jesus said, it is finished!
