Why is the ethereal faulty essense of our souls so resolutely tied to the stunted desire of our motely hearts twisting and despairing for love?

Humans are group animals who are weak and vulnerable on their own, a sixth of the strength of a chimp. In the past being alone or outcast would mean certain violent death.

Some would say because our souls are pieces of a larger spirit. The separated soul is in agony because it desperately wants to rejoin the spirit but hasn’t learned enough, hasn’t forgiven enough, or still needs to learn how to love everything before it will allow itself to rejoin.
