1) Consume less news, less YouTube.
2) More solutions, build Projex, edit LeverMind. (Plus...?)
3) Organize, prep, resist, rinse, repeat.
4) No booze or pot. (For a year?)
5) Get fit to feel ripe again.

I had given up booze as my last years resolution, mostly kept to it. Except for just two times all year where all I did was have one drink at restaurants each time.

I dunno, any ideas? I think it'd be a fun thing to do. Goobandit gave me tea, figured it'd be fun to pass the gift on so to speak. D3 was concerned about doxxing but I could send a gift card number to people in USCANICO, or crypto for everywhere.

I tried to figure out a way to give away a souvenir I got on vacation this year. I can't think of a way without doxing, though.

General delivery, maybe? Or the third party route as Jason suggests. You'd still kind of need to know the targets town or general area.

I think there are places that take deliveries from Amzon/UPS/FedEx into lockers. You get a code to open it when your delivery arrives. I wonder if any of the shipping/packaging places or the USPS have a service where you can give them a code to pick up a package at the service counter.

General Delivery would work (I didn't know about this service), but it does require a name.

Find someone who isn't secretive or get the target to find a neutral place to deliver it (ie. Send it to "Joe Blow for Zapped", but don't reveal who Joe Blow is to you - friend, relative, associate, work, etc.).

I prefer delivery of physical gold at my Cayman Island bank account. There's no need to exchange money at all. Everybody just agrees to spend their own money. Once your Santa is randomly chosen, they send you a link to their gift to you within the agreed price range. Once your gift arrives, you share a picture with Saidit as proof.

Honestly never really understood much of new year resolutions but I guess I can give it a shot. I wish to learn Linux, most presumably Ubuntu so I don't have to mess around with windows although most games will probably require windows. Filter out more toxic and unnecessary people in my life. Start reading books I have piled up. Cook and Brew more than ever before. Sharpen my debate skills. And possibly try to perfect or normalise my sleeping habits so I don't need over an hour to fall asleep. Yea, I SAIDIT!

I see two options here. First, go to bed when you're tired. If you'd like that to happen at a particular time, make yourself tired enough earlier so sleep happens when you get in bed.

An alternative might be to use that hour+ to do mental exercises, planning out your empire, or reviewing and strengthening memories.

I'd favor the 'progressive relaxation' technique, but look through the search results for whatever appeals to you. Trying to fall asleep for over an hour sounds pretty awful.

Thanks for the advice, usually using up all of my energy helps with it, like long walks, cycling and such, it is harder to do in winter due to well winter being winter, but I am going to try to read a book for an hour before bed so no screen time prior sleep. I've had this issue for all I can remember really, probably ever since I started using the computer, it is how it is I guess.

Usually takes me 1 - 2 minutes to fall asleep, but I don't go to bed until I'm already falling asleep, or it's really late. Usually both.

Your plan for no screen time close to bedtime sounds good. Just don't pick a page-turner you can't put down.

I'm getting a new box in January. I'm going with Mint Cinnamon. I don't know much, but I recommend that over Ubuntu.

Next year, if Projex.Wiki can manage to impress you, perhaps you might consider translating some stuff into Russian and/or Latvian.

I also must complete the extraction of myself from nonessential distractions and redouble focus upon tasks neglected through laziness or despair. Decoupling from screens and places where I’m passively dissolving time without creating or conversing, like saidit unfortunately.

Delete everything superfluous and reengage the pure learning process.

Listen better. Actually see everything you look at and remember.

The world is approaching the end of another grand cycle and the next decade will be the nonstop machinations of those who know this and wish to create the next stage of humanity as something effortlessly malleable and soulless.

One day the power will go out and all these zeros and ones will be nothing but nostalgia.

Try making up a few simple hard rules. For me over a decade ago I made a rule to keep me from 'wasting time': No ketamine on weekdays unless it was after 5pm with guests.

Learning is good, but it's masturbation without application. Develop alternatives and solutions (especially for resisting tyranny) from what you've learned, and refine them based on what you discover (learning further) in the process. (ie. /s/Projex)

If I were younger I would invest the time/energy/focus into learning about the memory palace technique. Look it up.
