Everyone posts there. They're probably pork ribs though, albeit likely still tasty. I have to go look up why pork is unclean.

I don't.

Because at that time pork had the risk of trichinosis. So no longer applies (in reasonably clean areas).

You've replied there, doesn't that count? Pork still carries that risk unless it's thoroughly cooked though. Commercial American meat farming probably cuts a lot of corners. On the infograph that I read it was something about chewing cud, and that they were considered unclean because they were mobile garbage disposals. Then I saw that goats were considered clean, which doesn't make sense because they're retarded compared to pigs, and eat actual garbage too. The infograph was from the United Church of God's site though, so I don't know how that lines up with other religious dietary restrictions

and eat actual garbage too.

This is false. Goats are picky fuckers.

Lots of goats might be. Others are garbage munchers hellbent on dying.

I used to believe that too.

I know the goats I knew, and I know the media lies, so I'm very skeptical about any other "garbage-eating goats".

Guess you've been around some well behaved goats. I've been around quite a few that will rob you of any dangling objects that look nibble worthy on clothing.

I've never known a goat to be well behaved.

Im bringing Pork Beef Buns but for you I can bring some mini-matzo balls and gefilte fish. I'll get the local Rebbe who is Shochet to bring brisket for the BBQ.

Because at that time pork had the risk of trichinosis. So no longer applies (in reasonably clean areas). That is true but is only one of many reasons why pork is forbidden

Some of my notes:
pig principles: environment, not very mobile dont need big pastures like cattle or sheep ideal for raising in a settlement or city eat human trash but makes them poorly suited for pastoral and nomadic lifestyles, society, pig husbandry in cities is often associated with lower socio economic status, settlement, pigs are useful for people to settle a new area since they can reproduce quickly new herds can be established quickly with just a few starter animals, economy, pigs can be harder to regulate than other domesticated animals for two reasons their litter sizes can vary drastically 12 - 14 piglets but usually much less they dont produce secondary products like wool or milk which are also valuable sources of taxes and institutional wealth in pre industrial societies so governments encourage raising other animals like goats sheep cows, health, pigs carry disease and are susceptible to parasites like tape worms that can be transmitted to humans. pigs only take a year to mature and eat your trash.

Those other reasons may have been valid, I don't know. But anyway, I eat pork ribs regularly and I can't remember the last time I ate matzo balls or gefilte fish. So you can keep them for yourself.
