Yes - sadly. If people complain enough about you to mods and admins, you can get a strike for "name-calling". I called someone an asshole (which I can do on Reddit), and 7 days later, after several complaints to an admin, I got a strike. (Edit: and I've been called every name in the book, on a regular basis, thoug recently enjoyed the title of 'malfunctioning meme'. For the serious hatred comments, I can select 'report' - under the comment - but I don't think this matters much, so I leave things as they are. You can read in the 'moderation log' at the bottom right when a reported comment was 'approved' to remain, or on rare occasion, 'removed'.)
