Well, Tuesday I flew back home. So many people today don't remember when flying was a pleasurable experience. I was searched and patted down. Luggage searched. My cigarette machine is kinda weird looking on x-ray.

For $60 extra bucks I get to have a seat that my legs fit in. The seats on the shuttle were more comfortable, I need to bring padding next time. And you're jammed into the passenger next to you, luckily the return trip the seat was empty so I didn't have touch anyone shoulder to shoulder.

The flight up there was a woman next to me, that's slightly less awful because they're smaller. But two men next to each other in those seats is really more contact than I want from a stranger.

It didn't used to be like that at all, used to be more like what they have for first class now.
