bible doesn't really say that

Romans 12:9

Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.

Ok I'll abhor what is evil, evil people. Abhor means hate.

Proverbs 6:16-

There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.

Ok the Lord hates things? Must be ok for me too then.

Psalm 5:5 The boastful shall not stand before your eyes; you hate all evildoers.

Jude 1:23 Save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh.

We got somebody citing the bible.

When concerned with fairy tales i always liked "Lord Of The Rings" more than the Bible, fyi.

bible is full of symbolism, good to read our rulers sacred texts

Sry, for me LOTR is more sacred than the bible.

tolkien based some of it on the bible. aragorn represents jesus. Tom Bombadil is god.
