I just made homemade ice cream with it, so I should hope so.

I thought cheesecake was a very jewish dessert. Do you not live in an area where there's decent bakeries that make it well?

Homemade cheesecake ice cream? Dang, I'll be over in a couple hours!

It made quite abit, so you'd be welcome to it. There were a few more things than just cheesecake, to be fair. I just looked up a few base recipes, decided on doing 1 and 1/2 C whole milk, 1 and 1/2C heavy cream, 3/4 C cane sugar, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp allspice, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, maybe 1/2 tbsp lemon zest, ** 2 tsp vanilla extract, 2 tbsp peach preserves, a pinch of salt, and a diced up slice of cheesecake that had a few berries on top. It tastes pretty amazing, and is probably a blue billion calories per serving. If you have an ice cream maker or attachment for your mixer, you should try it.

This was the first time using the attachment, and when pouring the mix in it snatched my silicone whisk. I panicked, turned it up higher by accident, and then off-- the whisk was mangled but whole. Kitchen adventures.

Edit**

When I had homemade ice cream there, it was after turning the crank on the ice cream maker until it couldn't be turned anymore. Later, there was one that ran on electricity, and we had to burn off the calories in other ways.

Sounds pretty tasty. I've needed to minimize my sugar intake, but forget that.

The summer fog has been in for the last few weeks (68 F today), but starting tomorrow temps will soar into the mid to high 70s for a couple weeks. Sounds like ice cream weather to me...

No line on whisks, but imo this is one of the best spatulas/turners you can find. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000CCY1T?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&ref_=chk_typ_imgToDp&th=1
