Southern Oregonian here. I get it. Not a plethora of opportunities here. Once things start burning again the opportunities get even worse.

Have you considered doing a fishing season up in Alaska? It will cost you a bus or plane ticket but your shelter and food are paid for while you make enough to afford a place at the end of the season.

Trucking is a great idea. It doesn't cost too much to go to school. I would shop around and find a company that will pay for you to go to school if you drive their trucks for a while. Definitely consider long haul semis that's where you'll get paid better.

Keep your head up, take good care of yourself, keep away from shitty people, drinking and doing drugs. If you need help, ask.

OHP is a pretty good program and I know there are social services available if you end up on the street.

Just remember, God won't throw you anything you can't handle, learn and grow from. Stay strong. You can get through this.
