Female spaces that don't have as much censorship on unpopular opinion. The downvote system is AIDS, and feels akin to the already stupid social policing that women already place on one another for wrongthink.

He was talking about Ovarit, and something we would want to see somewhere else. I like the way saidit is set up in that aspect.

It may be worth asking about and discussing next-forum voting stuff.

I'm guessing Lenny out of the box has up/down votes. I'd also guess it's not easy to change it or add an extra vote or 2 or 25 or even metatags (or something complex like MetaVote™).

One thing I know for certain: 1 vote = +1 point.

I don't like these:

  • insightful = +2 points (fun = +1 point)
  • downvote = -1 point

On most video platforms you see the ratio of like to dislike without meddling maths. I wonder if there are any Reddit-like forums that do that?
